backup of r/masskillers
I'm honestly surprised that no one has attempted it at Columbine again.
There were a couple of attempts of attempts... If that makes sense?
Huh I haven't heard of many. I heard of that one girl recently that traveled there saying she was going to. She was obsessed with Eric and Dylan. Then they found her dead in the woods.
>ne girl recently that traveled there saying she was going to. She was obsessed with Eric and
Sol Pais was her name if anyone want to know more
Sol Pais? Contrary to what the news said, she never actually made any threats. She was just a severely mentally ill Columbiner who went to Colorado to end her life. Law enforcement and the media extrapolated this to mean that she was a potential threat, but unless the FBI is still holding back some info, she never actually threatened to commit a mass shooting.
Huh? TIL. I thought she specifically made a threat about it.
She did. The individual above is obsessed with Sol Pais, idolizes her, and should probably be reported the the FBI.
You live in a society where Charles Manson merchandise is sold in malls. The FBI doesn't care about people with weird interests, dad.
Nope, you can find sources specifically stating otherwise in my response to the charming u/brucewillischugswine. She was just a suicidal girl who became obsessed with the wrong people and desperately needed help.
There was an attempt in 2010 if I remember correctly

Is a correct answer.
doesnt count really but world trade
LAX airport and the Empire State Building.
I don’t know what you signify as “place”, but the city of Denver has experienced four mass shootings in the last ten years, would have been five if that one broad hadn’t capped herself in the dome.
If you're talking about Sol Pais, she never actually made any threats or attempts to commit a shooting. The only intention she had was to end her own life.
This is definitely not accurate. Please don’t pretend you actually know this when our department and the FBI both haven’t determined that. “It also includes veiled references to her "plans" and to the Columbine High School shooting, which authorities say Pais was "infatuated" with. Officials said Pais, 18, was found dead in Colorado Wednesday amid a massive manhunt.” She killed herself because we were looking for her where she was hiding in the foothills. Authorities said Pais traveled from Miami to Denver on Monday night and bought a pump-action shotgun and ammunition. Denver-area schools, including Columbine, closed Wednesday after police said Pais had made a "credible threat."
Investigators closed in on Pais Wednesday near the Echo Lake Lodge at the base of Mount Evans”
She killed herself because she realized her mistake. She couldn’t pull it off. Columbine is the best protected school in the country.
Ah, you’re fucking obsessed. Well I work for this department in a capacity of medical examination and have access to info you don’t. Try not to idolize and justify these people kiddo. Your profile really concerns me.
Well you're sure confrontational and condescending aren't you? God forbid someone take an interest in a mass shooting-adjacent event/individual, and try to combat misinformation surrounding said event/individual, in a subreddit devoted to examining mass killings. In the interest of addressing this fully, I'm just gonna respond to both your comments here.
> Well I work for this department in a capacity of medical examination and have access to info you don’t.
Riiiiight. Assuming that you do work for the department with jurisdiction over the Sol Pais case, let me point out how you're directly contradicting your own LE officers, as quoted in this article:
“She had no idea what occurred from late Monday afternoon to Tuesday when a search for her began and to Wednesday when her body was found,” Clear Creek County Undersheriff Bruce Snelling told The Denver Post. “The logical likelihood was she was here to end her journey.”
Regarding her lack of making any direct threats:
Social media posts along with comments she made to others led the FBI to see her as a credible threat, Dean Phillips, special agent in charge of the Denver office, said Wednesday during a news conference. However, she never made a specific threat to a specific school, he said.
The Clear Creek Sheriff’s Office never received any evidence that Pais planned to use the shotgun to shoot others, Snelling said.
“I had no direct information from the FBI that any of her writings indicated she would do a school shooting,” Snelling said. “She didn’t have a master plan.”
Now, this bit:
> She killed herself because we were looking for her where she was hiding in the foothills
Is also wrong. As per the words of (allegedly) your own department:
An autopsy summary by the Clear Creek County coroner estimated that 18-year-old Sol Pais likely died on April 15 — the day authorities said she flew to Denver from Miami. The FBI’s Denver office said it learned of Pais’ travel the following morning. Agents also learned the day after she died that Pais had gone directly to a gun store from the airport and purchased a shotgun and ammunition. Pais was already dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound by the time agents began retracing her steps, according to the coroner’s initial autopsy findings. (Source)
So no, she didn't kill herself because she "realized her mistake." She killed herself because that was her only intention. If you're as involved as you claim to be with this case, I'm sure your colleagues and superiors would not be happy that you're discussing (not to mention spreading misinformation) about a still-active case.
> Try not to idolize and justify these people kiddo. Your profile really concerns me.
Lmao why would I be idolizing an 18 year old Columbiner? I'm likely your age or older, not some "kiddo." I'm just really not a fan of how this poor girl was demonized by the media to be the next E&D. I'm sure there are other people you should be more concerned about. Have a nice day, friend.
An “obsession” is different than an interest kiddo. Almost every single one of your posts is about this individual. That is concerning.
Have you heard of these things called throwaway accounts? Maybe I don't want Sol/mass killer stuff on my main?
I love how you don't even try to refute any of my points lol
Because it literally doesn’t matter. You’re making an assumption, you have no clue at all what that girl was thinking beforehand, and clear creek had a theory, doesn’t mean it’s accurate. She could have gone to columbine, seen the advanced security, and decided she was in over her head. There is literally no way of knowing, and that’s MY departments popular theory. Littleton has a whole other one and so does Douglas county. I guess you and google have one too.
And yah that’s a nice excuse but I don’t have entire accounts dedicated to someone who wanted to kill a bunch of people and that’s not what this sub is about. You can spout off all the news releases you want, I’ll say again, a working theory is not a solved case.
The cognitive dissonance here is astounding.
I think I’d know a little bit better than you kid, just saying. And I don’t think those words mean what you think they mean.
Why do you care so much about Sol's case? Honest question. She was just a depressed little kid who committed suicide. She has no place here on mass killers and she really isn't even that interesting so I'm honestly asking, why are you so interested? Are you attracted to her or something?
I agree that she has no place on here. I generally try to keep my posts about her on r/dissolvedgirl, but whenever she's erroneously mentioned here as a failed shooter I feel I need to correct that claim as it's inaccurate (according to all current public info that's been released about her case, anyway.)
To answer your question, I was drawn to this case because when I read Sol's writings it was like I was looking in a mirror at my own teenage self. Difference is, I grew out of that angst and became a relatively well-adjusted adult, while she took a far more tragic path. Then as more info came out, it became apparent that she had no plan to attack Columbine, yet the media narrative was already set and no one cared to correct it. That didn't (and still doesn't) sit well with me. She may be objectively attractive, but no I'm not attracted to her. I just find her highly relatable, because I was once in similar shoes.
Ya I hear you about relating to people. When I read Eric Harris's journal it was like I was reading my own mind (scary, yes I know). I was honestly just curious. Wasn't trying to be rude or anything but thank you for explaining it to me and not just calling me names and stuff like most people on Reddit do.
No judgement here, everyone is drawn to this place and various cases for their own reasons. No problem man, I'm not big on attacking people for no reason and your question was reasonable. Live and let live, y'know?
Nobody said I was involved with this case, either. I said I have access to information you don’t have. Glad your jealous, but attacking my credibility because Clear Creek said something when they were in coordination with JeffCo where I work and there are differing opinions is fucking hilarious. Get some help.
I literally have access to her entire plan for Monday. She wanted to get to Arapaho and kill herself before Monday evening. Have you seen the contents of her cellphone? Because I can pull that up and I do not need the cops to release it for me...
And your story about her being surrounded on a mountain and deciding to kill herself because she realized she fucked up is a bit more than a differing opinion from Clear Creek. Honestly, you're being humiliated by weirdos online the more you type.
You clearly didn’t read the conversation. We spoke of being involved with two different departments and there being a difference of opinion. If you’re gonna come two days after the fact and start spouting off at least be educated on the topic you’re talking about. And it’s interesting you have the contents of her cell phone when the FBI investigation is still ongoing and she didn’t kill herself in Arapahoe, just Arapahoe county, who sh she wouldn’t even have known the name of before coming here. Also gotta say that the obsessed individual above would definitely have more tidbits than me, because that’s how an infatuation works.
Here are some facts for you by the way, since we're on the topic of suicide. Make sure you pass this number out the next time you're at office.
There's no shame in it bro.
Are you implying the first farce you attempted wasn’t based in fact? keeping something going two days after the fact to try to bash them with mental illness allusions because you’re bored is fucking pathetic. Grow up. I know your only friend is a robot but learn how to have a proper conversation with a human, it’ll get you far.
OMFG. You’re the same guy with an alt. What a fucking creep.
A credible medical examiner determined that she died a day before the manhunt began. The timeline of events released by investigators and information hacked from her phone backs this up.
I'm sure you work with them in some capacity, like fetching a scalpel for someone who knows what they are doing, or fetching their lunch. I'm not going to dispute that.
I’m literally a forensic pathologist dipshit. You’re still a wierd obsessed little fanboy.
What is the pathology of your delusional deviation from the facts presented by people who actually worked on the case?
You’re a 23 year old schizophrenic. If you worked on this case I’ll eat my fucking hat.
Broward County had the FLL airport shooting and Parkland within 11 months, and Pulse just a couple hundred miles away 7 months before that. Rough few years for Floridians :/
Arapahoe High School in CO has had more than one school shooting.
Do you have sources?
